Update: some people we ran into saw him running around near 19th and Kansas last night, up in Potrero Hill, but none of them managed to get ahold of him. We searched from 17th to 20th and from Vermont to De Haro and couldn’t find him. Thank you so much to everyone who’s already reblogged this, and for all the support in general. We’ve notified animal control and we’ll be flyering/searching all day. If anyone has suggestions about other things we should be doing, let us know. And please keep your fingers crossed for little Morris.

The philosophies in Star Trek are kinda part of the actual setting. If you don’t get that, why are you allowed to make Star Trek movies.

Sigh. The whole point of Star Trek is that it’s philosophical. If you don’t want philosophical Science Fiction, there’s plenty of that for you to enjoy, but Star Trek is philosophical. Philosophy is part of Star Trek’s DNA, and if you’re given the captain’s chair, you’d better damn well respect that.

Hey internet! Before complaining, maybe watch the whole interview where J.J. goes on to say that he did sit down and watch all of TOS before making the “Star Trek” and he now says it’s his favorite show because of the philosophy?

Taking GIFs out of context is super cool.

I, for one, was pretty peeved that the Star Trek motion picture lacked the original series’s political nuance.

Sigh. I never liked Star Trek either! I am not going to get into it too much because I don’t know enough about what makes a person like some shows and not like others, but there never was a jumping in point for me. The Next Generation was in it’s prime during my childhood and I always got the feeling like the whole show was a group of people reading from a script. Not enough action or reaction, I guess. I couldn’t relate to what I was seeing. But I’m not inviting examples of all the times when there was action and reaction. Just saying my general observations and guesses for why I didn’t like it (other than that I’m an unphilosophical person). I sure can’t get enough of these wonderful bloopers though. The actors seem like wonderful people.

Hello Tumblr friends! Our pal Mitch Magee has worked on several of our videos including favorites like The Hunger Games Game and Woman Afraid of Owls.

He just started production on a short film that he wrote and is trying to raise the money for it through a Kickstarter campaign. You can check out the page and learn more about it.

Mitch Magee is an incredibly funny guy who I don’t really know, but who I like a lot anyway because he makes some of the funniest and most interesting videos on the internet.
